You keep what gets built
Hosting and service accounts go in your name wherever it is practical, and you receive the project files and everything the agreement lists. If you ever move the work elsewhere, nothing has been set up to make that painful.
About House of Crimson
The House of Crimson LLC is one person and a registered company, based in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and working remotely with customers across the United States. No account managers, no handoffs to a team you never meet.
The founder
I am Isaiah Ratliff, and House of Crimson is me. I build websites and custom software for small businesses, and I pick up projects that stalled, including the growing number that started as a prompt and ran out of road.
If you send an inquiry, I read it. If we agree on the work, I do it. If something breaks afterward, you are writing to the person who wrote the thing that broke. That is unusual enough now that it is worth saying plainly.
I choose technology to suit the job, explain what changed in language you can repeat to someone else, and try to leave every project in a state where somebody other than me could pick it up. Ongoing support is available afterward, with its own agreed scope.
What this means for you
These are not values on a wall. Each one shows up in the written scope of every project.
Hosting and service accounts go in your name wherever it is practical, and you receive the project files and everything the agreement lists. If you ever move the work elsewhere, nothing has been set up to make that painful.
If what you already have can be saved, we say so, even when rebuilding it would be the easier sell. A rebuild is a recommendation you get a reason for, never the default answer.
We build with these tools too. How a project started makes no difference to how it gets reviewed, and nobody here is going to make you feel foolish for reaching the end of what prompting could do.
Price, what you receive, what is excluded, the access needed, payment terms, and the expected schedule. Written in plain language and agreed before any work begins.
Where the work happens
A one-person shop cannot take on everything, and that is the trade. What it can do is give a project undivided attention and say no when no is the right answer. If your work needs a department, you will hear that. If it needs someone who will read your code before quoting you, this is that.
